Welterweight (147 pounds) star, Abdullai Amidu (18-0, 17 knockouts) of Ghana has been hired by seven-division champ, Manny Pacquaio (50-3-2, 38 KOs) to imitate his countryman, Joshua Clottey (35-3, 20 KOs), in sparring as Pacquiao prepares to defend his WBO welterweight title against Clottey (pictured at right).
Also serving as a Pacquiao sparring partner is David Rodela (14-2-2, six KOs). FanHouse caught up to both at The Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, which is owned and operated by Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach.
