THE next 12 months could be massive for boxing, according to SunSport's Pat Sheehan.
Our man expects the much-anticipated Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight to eventually get the nod this year.
Pat said: "It's such a shame this fight didn't come off straight away.
"It got embroiled in so many arguments about drug testing but I still think that towards the end of the year, this fight is just too big not to happen."
A British super-fight between Amir Khan and Ricky Hatton has also been touted.
Pat added: "It all boils down to economics again. How much will each fighter earn? If it's enough then they will fight."
