Keith Kizer of Nevada Sports Athletic Commission (NSAC) told ABS-CBN news that Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. were both negative in their drug test.
Pacquiao's laboratory tests were done in his hometown in General Santos, but were sent to Malaysia while Mayweather Jr.'s testing was done in Las Vegas and sent to Arizona.
The results came out 9 days after different talks and issues for the fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather but both camps failed to settle their differences over random drug testing and ended up to the cancelation of the fight.
Manny Pacquiao will still be fighting on March 13, 2010 at at the NFL Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas with his opponent Ghanaian Joshua Clottey
Meanwhile, reports, said that Mayweather Jr. will also have a fight on March 13 with different opponent. However, the reports of Golden Boy Promotions said that they still have to find an opponent for the American Floyd Mayweather Jr., who has not lost a single fight.
Millions of boxing fans were disappointed after the cancelation of the most wanted fight of the year between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. ‘Floyd Mayweather jr. blew it’.
